Last season, I noticed several boats had an arm/piston attached to the forward hatch in order to have it partially open instead of flipped all the way back.
Where did you buy your arm to do this? I have seen these at West Marine, but have no idea what length to buy for the forward hatch on the 26M.
I am also looking to add this mod. Windchime has one and he posted the info on the Macgregor Sailors Website. It is a Seadog Stainless Steel Hatch Adjuster 14″ knob lock listed on Go2marine.com. I will order this Spring after I get the auto pilot past the Admiral.

We organize on and off the water activities for owners of Macgregor and Tattoo boats; regattas, cruises, flotillas and our annual all member get together ‘MacRendezvous’.
