WOMEN’S DOCK PARTY ZOOM

By all accounts the Dock Party was a great success with lots of participation and discussion. Everyone present was able to take away some new thoughts and ideas. Thanks Shelley for organizing and all the members who contributed.

MYCBC SAFETY

Our Club is always stressing the importance of safety and planning. As the sailing season approaches are you preparing?

  1. INFLATABLE PFDS – Have you checked the inflation cartridge? Does the GREEN still show? Have you inflated it to see if it holds air overnight?
  2. FIRST AID KITS –  Have you checked the contents and refilled all the outdated or used items
  3. FLASHLIGHTS & HEADLAMPS – Are they still working? Have the batteries corroded? Do you have replacement batteries?
  4. SAFETY FLARES – Are your Flares up to date or expired?
  5. FIRE EXTINGUISHES – Are they expired? Do they need inspection? Have you been shaking the non-refillable ones EVERY MONTH?
