      Raymarine wheel pilot is what most seem to have gone with.

      Be sure to check that whatever you get will “talk” to your chart plotter. Some have had issues connecting Garmin and Raymarine.

        Thanks for the information Rick and Sue. I would love to move ahead, save for the $2000 price tag! I have been away from sailing for long enough for that price to be somewhat shocking. Reinforces my mission to see if there might be a used unit that comes along sometime this winter.
