Our cruise weekend is to greet so many new members and explore Gibson’s Landing, enjoy as we check out their culinary flavours, museums and shops. Take a walk and look at trails and other offerings. Spend time talking about our boats and what jobbies got accomplished. Saturday, Liverpool Lou and I will invite any member to head into EnglishBay for the fireworks and enjoy a night sail back to our berths.

I will be arriving most likely on Saturday do to work commitments, unless I night sail in.

Thanks for posting that Steve. I was wondering how many boats were coming and who and am pleasantly surprised by the number. Elizabeth and I are going to launch on Thursday and spend the night at Bowen. On Friday we plan on spending some time around Gambier Island before heading in to Gibsons. Would love to do the fireworks on Saturday evening, not sure I’m up to night sailing on my own but would be happy to tag along if someone has room for us.

Dear all,

We will not be able to attend the event in Gibson’s because we will be sailing the San Juan Islands for 11 days during this same time period.

We have been to Gibson’s many times, and just love it there. We hope that everyone has a great time!

We will miss you all … well, everything but Steve’s coconuts

We won’t be joning the Gibson’s trip next weekend – we are out sailing on the southern waters.
