MacGregor Sailboats

Let's get the MacGregor owners on facebook together. We can share info and pics, talk modifications, share a short sailing story or two. There are already several very good forums for Macs and Trailer Sailors; we don't need to duplicate that info, but I didn't see a group for Mac sailors on facebook. Let's see where it goes.

First sail of 2018. 20 NM round trip. 15 knots wind. Tried out tiller self steering. It’s going to be a good year!

Hi! I’m a new Macgregor v 2-24 owner and have a question about galleys. Mine did not come with one, so I’m trying to think of a way to add a sink and small stove to the boat.

Most things I’ve been able to google, like how to remove adhesive left by the carpet I tore up, but galley information is harder to come by.

Has anyone added a galley to their boat? I’d love ideas!

So this happened yesterday. Sink sump and pressure pump for my Mac25 original sink. When the ice melts I can finish the install.

I bought a 1988 Mac 26D. V berth has been cut out and interior bulkhead removed. Standing rigging and running looks to be in tac, but I am a been. Came with 2 9.9 Sailmaster outboards. I hasve the best one at the shop. Any input appreciated.
