Chiming in… So, do we have the required number for the group discount on the Sarca anchor? From the feed, it looks like we do.

I would like the Sarca Excel. I don’T see how the supra would sit on the bow wit that big hoop on it. Brad Cargill

I would also like the Sarca Excel. I am in Alberta but could send an etransfer and would drive out to pick it up.

    Steve,
Having just bought our boat we are learning about everything. We were very impressed with the presentation and we are surprised that these anchors are much bigger and heavier than the two anchors our boat is equipped with (5.5 lbs and 9 lbs.). They both fit in the storage area at the bow. We are now considering whether to join in on the group purchase. Do you need a firm decision by tonight? If we buy one of these, they won’t fit into the storage area so would we just hang it over the bow roller?
There was some mention of a folding anchor. Do you know how small those anchors fold and do they have the same anchoring qualities and how much do they cost?
    Thanks very much,
    Brian and Anne-Marie

    Hi Steve
Mist-a-sea would like to buy the excel anchor.
We can pay by credit card or etransfer which ever is more convenient.

Hi Steve, we want to confirm our interest in purchasing an anchor. Seems like most people are going for the Excel so if that is the better option that will be our choice as well.
    Thanks,
    Brian and Anne-Marie

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for answering all our questions today. We have decided to go with the Super Sarca #3, 9kg.

    Our deciding factors were:
    – the potential to fit our existing bow roller
    – the rock / tripping slot to assist in releasing
    – potentially cleaner retrieval
    – the loop, something extra to grab onto

While not as pretty as the Excel we think the Super Sarca better meets our current needs.

Thanks you for putting all this together! Talk soon for payment.

    Brian,
I have to place the order in the morning.
    1. the sarca Excel and super 9kg will not fit in locker. They would be secured of bow roller.
    2. for the Aluminum EXCEL I don’t have the price but they are much more expensive. Do they fit in the locker I will say yes, but to confirm I will have Micheal contact you as he has one.
